Summary of Position:

The Logistics & Parts Officer is responsible for all activities related to processing of our Parts & Accessory Orders. In this position you monitor the stock levels to control the inventory. For any Parts related questions from our Dealer- and Distributor network you are the first-tier contact. You will also be booking and coordinating the shipment activities. This includes the preparation and validation of shipping documents and coordinating the third-party logistics. You are proactive and strongly service oriented. The Logistics & Parts Officer is a fulltime position and you will be based in Noord-Scharwoude, The Netherlands. You will report directly to the Logistics & After Sales Manager EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answers all incoming Logistics & Parts related calls and inquiries in a pleasant, professional, courteous and timely fashion to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Processes and monitors Parts & Accessory orders in our ERP system.
  • Follows-up and coordinates with freight forwarders and third-party logistics to ensure that Parts are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and validate shipping documents, including Dangerous Goods shipments according the IATA, IMO, and ADR regulations.
  • Coordinates and manages shipments of Company Owned Vehicles. All fleet vehicles from Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service departments included.
  • Organize logistic activities related to service campaigns and recalls.
  • Maintains contact with recyclers and unrolls new structures for EOL Batteries.
  • Coordinate and monitor goods-movements and maintaining inventory stock levels with global After Sales and Logistic departments to ensure Parts & Accessory availability.
  • Communicate, coordinate and cross train with the Customer Service department and Dealer network to ensure timely supply of Warranty replacement parts.
  • Proactively communicate Parts & Accessory inquiries to ensure that Customer and Dealer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Keep track of returned parts and warranty replacement parts. Make sure that the Return Material Authorization is
  • Participates in on-going product / procedure training.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Knowledge of relevant applications ERP and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Knowledge of shipper applications and web-based track & tracing.
  • Organized, superior attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient administrative skills and multitasker.
  • Strong communication skills. Verbal and written English is a must.
  • Verbal German or Spanish is preferred.
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving.
  • Data collection and processing.
  • Stress tolerance.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Able to find suitable shipping methods in compliance with the European regulations.
  • Be an active coordinator of fleet shipment. Periodically informs the different department about the status of their vehicles.
Required Education/Experience:
  • You have at least an MBO+ degree in related area and- or you can demonstrate at least 2 Years working experience in similar positions. International experience in bilingual Automotive, OEM or equivalent is preferred. IATA, IMO, or ADR certificates also preferred.

Summary of Position:

The Marketing Manager EMEA is responsible for working with the corporate office in the US to create the appropriate marketing strategy for the EU region and implementing all aspects of Zero Motorcycles (ZMC) corporate marketing and communications strategy in the European-, Middle East- and African area. This includes localization of all collateral, digital platforms, advertising campaigns, sales promotions, dealer POP, demo events, targeted email campaigns and all other aspects of implementing Zero Motorcycles corporate marketing strategy in EMEA. A successful candidate will have exceptional communication as well as program management skills and the capacity to understand the interconnectedness of the customer’s experience with the brand at every junction. This position will collaborate heavily with Zero’s corporate marketing team to make sure that all marketing activities meet Zero Motorcycles brand and corporate guidelines, and follow all corporate systems and processes. The scope of the role requires phenomenal problem solving abilities and the desire to take on new challenges with the end goal of helping create a more vibrant and unified brand as measured by continued growth in Zero Motorcycles’ brand awareness and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy
    • Responsible for implementing strategy to ensure that marketing hits key performance targets.
    • Manage rollout of European product launches/ product management including adapting product positioning by market, market development, developing consumer facing marketing materials and related events.
    • Set and manage EU social media strategy. Create content for targeted markets. Reach out to customers, media and staff to develop interesting content that generates more interest around the brand.
    • Develop and enforce the brand guidelines alongside the design team.
    • Implement the Global marketing structure and tailor it to the European- and MEA markets;
    • Develop and manage the regional marketing budget(s);
    • Ensure compliance with European privacy laws;
  • PR and Communication
    • Manage European PR strategy, execution and agencies.
    • Manage all press communications including drafting European targeted press and corporate news releases, interact with journalists and editors, respond to press contacts, help manage the press database, set-up test ride evaluations of Zero products, collate press tests and feedback for product development purposes.
    • Localization of all content and messaging of Zero Motorcycles corporate positioning and communication campaigns.
    • Write/manage copy for newsletters, email campaigns, websites, brochures and other customer facing material as required to help foster a more vibrant customer community.
    • Ensure exceptional messaging across all corporate communications and enforce format/style consistency.
    • Develop and/or write new sections of the corporate website.
    • Coordinate local photo- and video shoots if necessary.
  • Advertising and Events
    • Defining advertising / marketing segments
    • Oversee the development of innovative advertising and marketing campaigns to drive more floor traffic to dealer showrooms. Work with corporate digital marketing team to develop PPC campaigns, meta-tags and key words relevant to target markets.
    • Interact with the sales teams to develop all components necessary to ensure that demo event promotions are communicated effectively from start to finish
Required Education/Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications
  • International marketing experience;
  • Digital marketing experience including website and social media leadership experience
  • Experience in the automotive and/or motorcycle industry and dealer networks is a strong asset;
  • Experience with working with different cultures and countries.
  • Copy writing experience is a plus;
  • The right candidate has at least a university or HBO+ level education in marketing/communication.

Other Requirements:
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Motorcycle and car license required (B +A2).
