Summary of Position:

The Customer Service - Electrical Engineer will support partners (including dealers and distributors) by responding to inquiries and technical requests about the electrical aspects of Zero Motorcycle’s products. You will provide second-tier troubleshooting guidance for electrical field issues experienced by owner’s motorcycles and work with our partners to ensure each issue is resolved in a timely and high quality manner. This guidance primarily will consist of reviewing log files and suggesting symptom diagnostic approaches. When necessary, you will escalate issues to senior support engineers or service management team members to expedite their resolution.

On a weekly basis, you will analyze electrical technical issues to identify trends and recommend improvements in tools, training or documentation to eliminate or acceleration the resolution of future problems. This analysis will also be use to deliver a weekly top ten electrical issues list to be reviewed with the product development, manufacturing operations and quality teams. This position is full time M-F and will be working at our Scotts Valley, California headquarters and will report to the Director Customer Experience and Aftersales.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Education/Experience:

  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with a computer including connecting external devices (USB, RS232, programming devices), using terminal programs, retrieving and storing files in remote locations and configuring systems with new software
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications including Word and Excel (experience with Salesforce.com a plus)

This analysis will also be use to deliver a weekly top ten mechanical issues list to be reviewed with the product development team.

Because our motorcycles are electric vehicles, you are expected to achieve a basic proficiency in debugging electrical issues to support those needs as they arise. This position is full time M-F in our Scotts Valley, CA corporate headquarters and will report to the Customer Service Manager.

Summary of Position:

The Mechanical Engineer III owns the design and development of assigned motorcycle components and systems, ensuring Zero Motorcycles has best-in-class mechanical design practices for its products, in order to achieve company objectives. Furthermore, this position has the responsibility to assist in the optimization of systems and processes used in the design function and effectively communicate Engineering content to other company functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifies unique opportunities for Zero Motorcycles to develop, protect, build and maintain competitive advantage
  • Uses appropriate mechanical design strategies in the creation of assigned motorcycle components
  • Schedules and leads design reviews at strategic points of a product’s development

Summary of Position:

The NPI Coordinator will facilitate building of NPI BOMs in Agile, managing them until released to migration to our ERP system. This position is full time M-F and will be working at our Scotts Valley, California headquarters and will report to the Director of Development Purchasing and NPI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures each new component is structured correctly (where-used, supplier, cost, lead-time, etc.) in Agile and implemented in ERP correctly upon release.
  • Oversees D&R and Validation build planning. Ensures material is ordered, shows up when needed, audit bills of material data for accuracy (actual, ERP, Agile, CAD).
  • Overseeing ECN implementation plans to completion by working with purchasing, quality, engineering, & materials as needed. Drives Agile discipline, ensures engineering and operation updates Agile as and when necessary.
  • Serves as single point of contact for operations on readiness of new product introduction.

The Powertrain Program Manager is responsible for the technical coordination and support of engineering development projects related to Powertrain Sales for our OE customers. The successful candidate owns following up on component, system and vehicle development day-to-day activities with engineering and other functional teams, having the top level project goals in sight at all times. This position will also be responsible for working closely with our customers to define requirements, set deliverables, and provide status throughout the project(s).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answers all incoming Logistics & Parts related calls and inquiries in a pleasant, professional, courteous and timely fashion to maintain customer satisfaction.

Summary of Position:

The Marketing Manager EMEA is responsible for working with the corporate office in the US to create the appropriate marketing strategy for the EU region and implementing all aspects of Zero Motorcycles (ZMC) corporate marketing and communications strategy in the European-, Middle East- and African area. This includes localization of all collateral, digital platforms, advertising campaigns, sales promotions, dealer POP, demo events, targeted email campaigns and all other aspects of implementing Zero Motorcycles corporate marketing strategy in EMEA. A successful candidate will have exceptional communication as well as program management skills and the capacity to understand the interconnectedness of the customer’s experience with the brand at every junction. This position will collaborate heavily with Zero’s corporate marketing team to make sure that all marketing activities meet Zero Motorcycles brand and corporate guidelines, and follow all corporate systems and processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy
    • Responsible for implementing strategy to ensure that marketing hits key performance targets.
    • Manage rollout of European product launches/ product management including adapting product positioning by market, market development, developing consumer facing marketing materials and related events.

    • Interact with the sales teams to develop all components necessary to ensure that demo event promotions are communicated effectively from start to finish
Required Education/Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications
  • International marketing experience;
  • Digital marketing experience including website and social media leadership experience
  • Experience in the automotive and/or motorcycle industry and dealer networks is a strong asset;
  • Experience with working with different cultures and countries.
  • Copy writing experience is a plus;
